Not Receiving ACT Communications in Your Inbox?

ACT communicates regularly using Constant Contact, including distribution of the bi-monthly eNews, bi-monthly webinar invitations, and conference information.

Some ISP's or IT departments have blocked these types of communications.

If you find that you are not receiving ACT communications, see below to find out more about how to prevent these communications from being blocked.

Below is a letter you can send to your ISP/IT Department to request that you are allowed to receive Constant Contact communications from ACT into your Inbox (replace XXXX with the appropriate information):

To: ISP Customer Support Subject: Remove Constant Contact Block

Hello. My name is XXXX and I have been a customer of your services since XXXX. I understand that you employ filters and/or blacklists to protect customers like myself from unsolicited email; however, this has made it impossible for me to receive newsletters, announcements, and critical information related to my job that I have requested from the Association for Computers and Taxation (ACT) Organization. I value these communications and would like to receive them using this email address.

ACT uses an email marketing service called Constant Contact. Constant Contact is not an open relay and has strict anti-spam policies in place. Because your filters block emails from Constant Contact I am unable to receive these communications.

I ask that you please help me determine why these emails are being blocked. For further information about Constant Contact or to request more information from them such as log files, the Ops team can be reached at - 781.472.8103 or ops@constantcontact.com.

In addition, the following information may be useful to your ISP or IT department in opening up access to the Constant Contact communications from ACT:

Mail from Constant Contact can be found with the following characteristics:

"Envelope from:" domains: @in.constantcontact.com @in.confirmedcc.com

Sending IP’s:  In March of 2008, Constant Contact began migrating all outbound mail IPs to one consolidated block. All future mail from Constant Contact will be sent from:'
